My name is Mo Bajalan, I am the core surgical trainee rep for the Association of Otolaryngologists in Training (AOT). I would like to advertise our organisation and invite senior medical students, foundation doctors and core surgical trainees interested in ENT to join the association.
AOT is an organisation that represents all Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery trainees throughout the UK all the way through their training careers. We are independent, free to join and are run by trainees for trainees.
The AOT puts forward the views of its membership through representation on the councils and committees of ENT-UK, Specialist Advisory Committee in Otolaryngology, Education and Training Committee, the Intercollegiate Exam Board, the Royal Society of Medicine sections, the Association of Surgeons in Training, and many other groups.
The benefits most applicable to junior trainees will be the advertising of relevant materials, courses and conferences pertinent to early career development. There are copious opportunities to discuss relevant issues and areas concerning training in discussion groups within the AOT forum as well as designated social media forums.
Once a year, there is an annual AOT conference where alongside an unrivalled academic and social programme, members have the opportunity to present projects at a national conference and nominate themselves to represent the AOT regionally or on one of the committees.
If you are interested in joining the AOT please visit the website on:
www.aotent.com
Alternatively, if you would like to be added to core trainee mailing list for advertisements and notifications of courses and events please contact the following address:

Many thanks in advance and we look forward to hearing from budding ENT enthusiasts in the near future.
Best wishes
Mo Bajalan
