Cadaveric Approaches Training Day (ST3s)

Date: Thursday,  20th  October 2022

Time: TBC (likely 8-4 or 9-5)

Venue: Vesalius Clinical Training Centre, School of Anatomy, University of Bristol,
32 Southwell Street, Bristol, BS2 8EJ

This is a mandatory training day for new ST3s and IDTs to the Severn Deanery and the Peninsula Deanery.

Faculty (consultants and senior registrars) will provide high fidelity teaching on cadavers, covering common approaches to the upper limb and lower limb. This is a fantastic opportunity to dissect in a low stakes environment to learn tips and tricks about where to place incisions, develop an awareness of regional anatomy, and discover how to perform approaches safely.

Coffee and lunch will be provided.

Please request your study leave and email richard.donovan@bristol.ac.uk to confirm attendance.

If you have difficulty getting study leave approved for this day then please contact Mr Andrew Tasker, TPD in Severn.
