Core Surgical Training - Fracture Fixation Course

Jad Wehbe and Samuel Leckey (CT2 Orthopaedic trainees in Gloucestershire) are pleased to be hosting this year's annual Gloucester fracture fixation course on Jan 10th 2025.
The Royal College of Surgeons of England has awarded up to 5.5 CPD points for this course.
The day will include a morning of 10-minute consultant led talks on basic fracture healing principles, biology of bone, and common procedures such as application of ex fix, IM Nailimg, and DHS. This will be followed by a lunch break and then an afternoon of hands-on experience with 3d printed models supervised by consultants and senior registrars.
The program will be distributed in due course, but roughly will be an 8:30am start with registration and a closing remarks and conclusion by 5pm, at Gloucester Royal Hospital.
There will be a post course meal, likely to be in Cheltenham.
There will be a £20 pound refundable fee for Severn deanery (Severn and Peninsula) delegates and a £60 pound fee for out of deanery delegates.
